One of the classics and a long time staple for R&N Blades. This blade has seen some changes over time from its original design to what it has morphed into today. The changes have come after years of feedback and use from the public.
The version we are producing today has plenty of tip strength, yet its pointy enough to get under even the toughest of Sambar capes.
The classic lines the cutting edge follow allows the Small Hunter to be easily sharpened by even the newest of users, while still having enough of a curve to dress a animal without puncturing through the initial thin membrane and muscle and entering the dreaded green room.
Our exhibition grade stabilised timber handles are all hand selected and checked for any imperfections before marrying up to the blade and guard. The block is then hand sculpted by our leading artisans into what can only be described as heirloom quality.
These knives are occasionally available in our Special Friday Knife Drops; you’ll find any live Friday Drops in the available knives section.
