Course: Fixed-Blade Knife Making Weekend (50% Deposit)

This item is a 50% upfront deposit to book your slot on an upcoming R&N Blades course, the total price of this course is $850 per participant.  The last 50% of your payment is required the Monday of the week your course is set to start (e.g Monday, July 24 for the July 28-30 course).

Learn the art of fixed-blade knife making in the R&N Blades workshop under the supervision of R&N Blades founder and knife maker Rob Herbert.  Rob will teach you how best to work with knife steel, how to avoid pitfalls common for the beginner knife maker and how to construct a predesigned knife.  At the end of this hand-on course, you will walk away with a wide breadth of experience and the knife you build over the duration of the course.

This course is available to four students per session and will be running on the weekend(s) of November 24-26, 2023.
Course times: Friday 4pm - 7:30pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, Sunday 8am - finish (usually 3pm).

Due to the nature of the hands-on work involved and the tools being used, it is preferred that participants bring their own personal eye and ear PPE.  Participants with long hair will need to tie it up when in the workshop.  Due to legal requirements, all course participants must be 18 or over.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided in breaks through the day, please BYO lunch.
